Become a character from a movie or computer game. Have a tattoo design put in place to see how it would really look. Buy your friends or family an image of themselves that they will never forget. Appear to pull off your own body parts to gross out your friends, or simply have an image professionally edited without the photography studio price tag. The possibilities are endless.
Everyone has met somebody who thinks they know their way around Photoshop, and often get them to make profile images or forum signature banners. It's all well and good.. and free, although what's usually created is poor quality or half stolen artwork from the internet.
That's where i come in. Now you can get a profile picture starring YOU... custom made for you by a full time professional.... for peanuts. You can do with your finished image as you like. Use it on social networking sites, email it to your friends, or even print it on photo paper and mount it on your wall.

So what does it cost?
A mere £6 UK pounds ($12 USD) per image.
2 images for £10 ($20 USD).
Payment is taken through Paypal
which allows most major credit cards, and doesn't require you to sign up. Alternatively you can send funds directly if you are already a Paypal user.
All that i ask in return for such stupid prices, is that you place a link to this website in the image description wherever you use it.
Once you have purchased your image you can add it to the collection on our Facebook group. Once a member of the group with your own image, you are entitled to 20% off further images.
So how do i get one?
STEP 1 - Finding a suitable image
The most important factor is the starting image. You must provide an image(or a few) that is in clear crisp focus, and at least 640x480 px (most digital cameras are way higher anyway). Cell phone cameras really aren't suitable unless they can take high resolution images. The higher the quality and size the better. Images that have already been added to a site like Facebook and re-saved are not usually suitable. Also do not crop images beforehand, i will do this if necessary!
You must be fairly close to the camera (for quality reasons) and not have any body part blocked by an object or another person, or cut off by the top or sides of the frame. I would recommend taking the image for this purpose specifically.
Waist up images or full body are most suitable.
Also light is very important. The better the lighting... the better the outcome.
Examples:
The Pose
Try to avoid standing square on to the camera and pulling a fake smile. These make horrible images. Do something interesting... Usually, the more interesting the body position, the better the final outcome (see finished images at the top of the page).
Try to at least have your shoulders turned at an angle, this helps me with the addition of wings, weapons etc. You do not have to be stood up either. kneeling... lying down... even running! As i stated before, the more interesting the better. One idea that is good for some images is facing away from the camera and looking back over your shoulder. And even... got a trampoline for those aerial combat images???
Clothing
This is entirely up to you. Be adventurous. This may be the only time that you are the star in a quality piece of art, and you will have it for ever. Try to match clothing to the style of image you want... but this is not all that important, i can work around anything. Try to avoid bulky clothing. Lingerie / Swimsuit is acceptable but visible nudity is not.
STEP 2 - choosing a style
You may wish to copy the style of one of the example images at the top instead, please describe it in your email.
Choose ONE from the list for each photo required:
Style:
None - (just small amounts of editing)
Glamour - (full model style editing for contrast, pose is important!)
Light fantasy - (pointy eared elves, pixies, fairies)
Dark fantasy - (sorcerers, warriors, dragon slayers, fallen angels, bladed weaponry)
Macabre - (zombies, blood spatter, injuries, vampires)
Serious gore - (body parts missing (scarily realistic!) or worse! be specific)
Sci-fi - (space marines, bionic parts, matrix style power cables, breathing masks, futuristic weaponry, usually in battle)
Devil - (realistic horns, wings and a tail)
Angel - (wings and halo)
Robot - (good for close ups, half terminator style face!)
Animal - (patches of snake skin and eyes or anything similar, be specific!)
Tribal - (tattoo / tribal war paint. must have plenty of skin visible)
Custom - (for people who want a specific change like fake dreadlocks etc.)
Other - (Be sure to state precisely your ideas, i'm up for anything!)
STEP 3 - Emailing!
Email your images!!
(i can accept as many as you like if you are unsure of which would be best, i am happy to help choose from an art perspective.)
DON'T FORGET - to include your choice from the style list and/or any ideas of your own.
Once i receive your email and am happy with the image quality, i will reply to your email with a link to make payment. Once payment is received, i will hand over the finished image. If you are not quite happy with the finished product i will keep making changes to it until you are (within reason).
Final image size and resolution will be totally dependant on the size and quality of your submitted image. At the least, all images will be large enough for sites like Facebook, MySpace and Bebo.
Please allow 3 days from payment to complete your image.
Good Luck!
